The Warehouse Project started with a simple idea: artists helping artists. What began in a garage with donated props and costumes has grown into a shared resource for the Bay Area’s creative community.
Now, we’re launching our Membership Program, a way to make collaboration, access, and sustainability a permanent part of the local theater ecosystem.
1. Donation Credit Program – Earn Credits for What You Give
Every donation keeps a story alive. Members can now earn rental credits for donating props, costumes, furniture, or set pieces in good condition. But it doesn’t stop there! You can also earn credits by volunteering your time, teaching a workshop, or repairing items in our collection.
Each contribution is evaluated and assigned a credit value that you can use for future rentals. You’ll also receive a tax-exempt donation acknowledgment for your generosity.
This program is perfect for educators, theater departments, and artists who want to give back and still get something useful in return.
2. Annual Membership – Save and Get First Pick
For active renters, our annual membership offers ongoing savings and early access to our ever-growing inventory.
$200/month or $2,000/year (save $400)
20% off all rental fees
Priority scheduling and first pick on high-demand items
Recognition as an active Warehouse Project supporter
Your membership directly funds warehouse operations, restoration, and community arts education.
3. In-Kind Partnership – Sharing Space and Creativity
Not all contributions are financial.Through our In-Kind Partnership, you can collaborate by sharing storage space, lending access to your props, costumes, or furniture, or hosting a joint project. In exchange, you’ll receive priority borrowing privileges, recognition on our website and materials, and tax-deductible acknowledgment for your contribution.
It’s collaboration in its purest form. Artists supporting artists.
