A Home for Creative Leftovers and a Heaven for Makers
MISSION
The Warehouse Project is a nonprofit resource hub for community theater artists, students, and makers. We collect, rent, and teach with donated theater materials to keep creativity accessible and affordable.
Meet the Dreamer
Patricia Bilello
Founder, Artist, Educator, Prop Builder, Community Grown
Patricia Bilello is an immigrant artist, educator, and craftswoman with a lifelong passion for creating something out of nothing. Raised with limited resources but endless imagination, she found her creative voice through teaching, sewing, painting, and building — long before she was fluent in English. For Patricia, theater became more than art: it became a language of belonging.
After years working in schools, community theaters, and behind the scenes, Patricia founded The Warehouse Project to solve two problems she saw over and over: perfectly good materials being thrown away, and artists and schools struggling to afford what they needed to put on a show.
Her mission is simple: give props, costumes, and sets a second life, and open the door for anyone to learn and create — no matter their background or budget.
The Warehouse Project is more than a prop house. It’s a movement built on reuse, community care, and a deep love for theater magic. And Patricia is at the heart of it.
